Flight suggestions from Hyderabad to come to Seattle

Posted by mscompile on Sat, 05/31/2008 - 00:27 in

Hyderabad to Seattle route has continued to become crowded. Most of us in Seattle have relied on NorthWest-KLM combination to go to Hyderabad. Here are some suggestions that came recently in a discussion in Microsoft aliases.

You can try British airways , they operate direct flights to Seattle via London from Bangalore, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi .

Lufthansa just started one a month ago from SEA?FRA & we’ve had the FRA?HYD for a while.

Not in time for summer but October onwards, BA will add London ? HYD so you can take the Seattle ? London ? HYD route

The new airport in HYD should hopefully open a lot more nonstop routes to Europe and Asia, now that they can actually land 747s and 777s on the new runway.
-------
I bought tickets from http://us.makemytrip.com/ recently for my in-laws. Its Lufthansa airlines HYD-FRA-SEA and round trip cost is $1500 per person. They are e-tickets i.e. they can be printed in HYD. You need to either chat with or call them for quotation(not searching in the website).

You could look out for British Airways however they start from Bangalore or Mumbai. Typically a travel agent would provide you a connector from HYD to Mumbai via Jet Airways. The best part is that Jet Airways has tie-up with BAA and they do the thorough check-in from HYD to Seattle. I would recommend taking Bangalore route and that way they don’t have to spend too much wait time in London Heathrow airport. Check with your agent for details or I can get you details around this later this week. I believe this airlines is also much cheap than the usual KLM/NWA route.
