Sankranti marks Sun's journey to the Northern Hemisphere. The winter season ceases and spring season starts. Our bodies will have a chemical reaction with the sun rays and we become healthy. Many people pray to Sun during this time of the year. I would like to share an article that I recently read. Surya, the Sun, is considered as the only visible form of God that can be seen every day.

These days I am seeing a lot of discussion about how kids are taught Mathematics at school. There are so many ways of teaching Math. But ultimately kids are not having basic knowledge when they get to middle school or high school.

I recently bought a book for my son to encourage him to do more practicing. This is the same book that many schools in Seattle use as part of their curriculum (Everyday Math by Mc Graw hill publication). In one of the sections for divisibility, the instructions are as follows:
“One way to test for divisibility is to use your calculator.”
